An interactive session of Dr Thomas with host Harshil Suvankar was conducted with Dr. Thomas talking about a chronic dieses "CANCER". He discussed in detail about cancer a a mitochondrial disease for audience of MHC to understand, and its roles in progression of cancer. He elaboratively defined cancer as "cell division out of control", that a common person should be able to grasp. As per him "regulated cell growth" is termed as cancer. This was supported by him discussing the causes that result in the growth of such cells in a tissue in a dis regulated way. "The irregulated cell growth is the in efficiency of oxidated phosphorylation within the mitochondria to maintain the regulated differentiated state", said Dr Tomas. He also shared his view supported by his research that a human or animal who live life as a traditional way are less prone of having cancer. His conclusion for Humans or even animals more prone to cancer where it is an insult to the function of oxidated phosphorylation, and lifestyle has a major impact. Research has shown that all cancer is metamorphosis from respiration to fermentation. He stated primal causes that results in damaging of cells that leads to Cancer. About Dr Thomas Seyfried

is a distinguish researcher and professor for his renowned and groundbreaking work on cancer, metabolism and metabolic therapies. Dr Thoman has been working and research on metabolism and metabolic therapies for chronic disease like cancer. He has published numerous papers in light of Metabolic Disorders and Cancer. He works on various innovative therapies to provide cure for various metabolic disorder and chronic diseases.

Dr. Seyfried published a groundbreaking treatise entitled, Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer (Wiley, 1st ed., 2012). The treatise provides extensive information showing that cancer can be best defined as a mitochondrial metabolic disease rather than as a genetic disease. This new concept has implications for the development of new non-toxic cancer therapies including the ketogenic diet. Experts in the cancer research field have praised this comprehensive study as one of science hottest topics.
