On 26, April 2024,  as a guest speaker of MHC2024 II, Dr. Peter Ballerstedt talked about Forage and explained in detail to the audience, more of education and awareness about forage. The Discussed with the host Mandhar Gadre on research work and the nutritional importance of animal source food in human diet. He added on for how diets "Healthy Diet" and lifestyle changes can be remedial for various chronic disease like diabetes, obesities. He discussed various metabolic disorder in various human and the therapies based on lifestyle and food. Some concepts of malnutrition mainly proteins was discussed in depth. The main objective of this session was with Dr Peter Ballerstedt explaining what is over fed but still under nourished that can lead to various metabolic disorder in an mal nourished human body, despite over fed. Much discussed was on ruminant animal can be high quality food for human. Talked about calories that comes from various food sources (Plant or Meat) will not have same metabolic affect on human body.

Graduated in Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) in 1981 with Master of Science in 1983, from the University of Georgia. His academic career was further added with a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1986.
